The date for the celebration was not chosen by chance and is related occurred on 25 October 1879 event. K. Siemens (a German engineer electric company) received a certificate, which was allowed in St. Petersburg to work for the manufacture of Telegraph cables and insulated wire, built by the factory. It is believed that on this day formed cable industry in Russia has existed for over a hundred years.
What is the cable? What it looks like and what is? The word of the cable means one or more insulated electrical conductors which are enclosed in a shell with special covers. It would be appropriate to say that without the industry life would come to a standstill.
