ENWorld rural women’s day
Women are so different: both in character and in their pursuits and interests, and their places of residence. Every woman worthy of admiration, love and respect. For several years now in the world is developing a new tradition – the celebration of the 15th of October – world rural women's day.
Rural women – it is not only the woman involved only agriculture, as we know the stereotypes, but also rural teacher, doctors, Housewives, pensioners and other women who reside in rural areas.
The history of the celebration of the Day of rural women was started in 2008 by a special resolution of the United Nations programme for the advancement of the female population of the country districts.
This festival is designed to bring rural women public recognition and provide their support in any of the areas of their personal, professional and social life, as all that they do, is a significant contribution to the economic development of rural areas, where they live, and in the welfare of their families.
In our country women-women have not yet received a special social status and do not have deep traditions of providing attention from the public. This suggests that the introduction and on our territory day of rural women will only benefit in solving women's problems and needs, especially in remote rural areas, increase their status and bring respect and empathy.
