ENDay of geologist
We all, being on a school geography lessons, curiously looked at the sections of the Earth, resembling pieces of cake, and a collection of various stones. For some, this interest eventually becomes a profession.
Day of geologist has a long tradition and is celebrated in our country since 1966 on the first Sunday of the second month of spring, April. However, involved in this day feel not only the scouts of the earth's interior, but also representatives of various allied trades: demolition, surveyors, drifters mines and all the people working on the search and extraction from under the earth's crust minerals. In severe conditions, including wildlife, forests, swamps and mountains these scouts terrestrial rocks under the weight of heavy packs and different equipment are working on the study of minerals
and salts mined diamonds or gold, copper or tin, gas or oil.
