Timely communication has always been of paramount importance for the organization of any military campaign. It is not surprising that the Electronic unit of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation has its own professional holiday, which is usually celebrated annually on April 15.
This date was chosen not accidentally. Originating since the invention of radio, electronic warfare in our country has played a special role, when in this day in 1904, thanks to the radio station, located on the battleship " Potemkin» managed to prevent the adjustment of fire from the cruisers of Japan.
In addition to the huge impact radio on the everyday life of the society from the rapid transmission of news services to the organization of cultural leisure of the population and political propaganda, it is on the whole history of its existence helped the military forces of Russia. Using the radio, it was possible to collect, store and transfer important information to prevent the attacks of enemies and to adjust the internal military operations, to specify the purpose and use noise to interfere with the enemy the exchange of information.
It is impossible to overestimate the role of radio and in the further development of military equipment to communicate with aircraft and space vehicles.
On this festive day is to honor and congratulate those soldiers of our army, which engaged in the development of its information technology capacity!
