International day of the air traffic controller
This wonderful holiday was born 20 October 1961, after the birth of the International Federation of associations of aviation managers at the Congress in Amsterdam.
Just imagine that at the moment the number of representatives who belong to this Association, more than 50 thousand people. Because the air traffic controller is a very demanding job that requires not only professional skills, but also special psychological training. Our security and, in fact, life in the sky is in their hands. This is, in fact, a huge responsibility, and professionalism of these people – the highest requirements. This profession is always in demand, because there are no computers will never be able to replace instant only and the best solution in emergency and urgent situations. Only man and his well-developed intuition can cope with this problem, knowing that at stake are the lives of people. The main rule of the air traffic controllers – to work, in spite of conditions and circumstances. And such a feast for them, it is also an opportunity to attract public attention and to emphasize the importance of this profession, to talk about the achievements, plans and objectives.
