The new school year in Russia, begins on the Day of knowledge - September 1. This, undoubtedly, is one of the brightest events in the life of every person, and sometimes, memories of it, cause in the soul the most contradictory feelings. For students and their parents this holiday is associated with the line on which the Director of the school utters a solemn speech, and excited and smart first graders give flowers to my first teachers, which will be remembered for a lifetime. Traditionally on this day, the high school – graduate puts him on his shoulder the first grader, and they make a circle around the school yard, filling it with a loud ringing of the bell, making the holiday has another name – the day of the First call.
Originally the first of September, after giving him the status of a national holiday, was a day of learning, beginning with a solemn line, after there were so-called lesson of the World, and then other scheduled lessons.
