The day of the invention of the automobile
Today no one is surprised the cars on the road. Many different patterns and colors, they are firmly entrenched in our lives. Almost every seven has its own "iron horse", and so public transport is necessary to use constantly. But it is now. Not so long ago were the days when everything had just started…
The first car was made in 1885 by the inventor Karl Benz. It was a double crew, which had three large spirobank wheel and four-stroke motor gasoline and water cooled. It was only 0.9 horsepower. The cylinder of the engine and the flywheel was located above the axis of the rear wheels, which would set in motion a chain transmission. Were already involved galvanic battery, whereby the ignition, as now, was electric. All this complete with a metal frame made the design much better than the wooden cart Gottlieb Daimler.
While Benz began testing his creation in the night, away from prying eyes. All this lasted until January 29, 1886. It was then that Karl Benz patented his creation and brought the car into the light. But his contemporaries for some reason took it very cool. In France and Germany, neither this three-wheeled vehicle not had any success, nor his followers. By 1893 it was released only about 15 models of Benz cars. How were all wrong, because the invention of the car became one of the greatest in the 19th century. And most importantly, a very necessary and useful.
